Capacitor battery supporting the network stability is deployed in 22 kV switching station that is far from the 110/22 kV transformation node and where is increased load during the winter. Excessive voltage dips outside the tolerance caused by this load are mitigated by gradual connection of battery power levels. The equipment is autonomous with optional remote control and transmitting important operational information and data to dispatcher control center.

The system monitors and controls five power stations, monitors 15 minutes consumption, storages the data and controls the screen wall. It is composed of two redundant SCADA servers including PostgreSQL database system and contains about 5,000 data points.

Active filter allows for mitigating voltage and current harmonics within networks with sever disturbances, which affected reliability of power and control components. In case of Madeta a.s. Plana nad Luznici the overload of 22/0,4 kV transformer as well as production interruptions was significantly reduced.
